Over the past 25 years Mark has built multiple companies with successful exits. It has been his philosophy to “think of others first” and assist with their growth.
Prior to co-founding Yew Street Insurance Mark successfully co-founded a professional service company leading it to a team of over 300 across the country. Over the following 18 years the company was awarded many awards for growth and philanthropy including: INC 500 Fastest private growing companies, National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion Award, Portland Business Journal Most Admired companies, PSBJ Eastside 50 fastest growing companies, PSBJ Corporate Citizenship award, PSBJ Community Impact Award, PSBJ fastest growing companies Washington State.
Mark lives with his wife Katherine and 3 children Cynthia, Claudia and Claire in Whatcom County. He enjoys travel, boating, philanthropy, and playing the drums.
