Candace brings over 12 years of service and sales knowledge working in the insurance industry. She received her property & casualty license in 2011 and excelled as a customer service representative and producer. She specializes in risk analysis and client consultation for business owners, corporate executives, managers, and working professionals. Her warm and genuine personality creates an instant connection and security people have learned to trust and respect.
Prior to pursuing insurance, Candace was employed by her family’s locally owned and operated retail business, Fairway Country Furnishings. Working there for 20 years she established her sense of hard work, drive, urgency, and superior customer service skills. Promoting the success of the company’s household goods and furniture showroom was instrumental in boosting the local economy and supporting other locally owned small businesses in the area between the years 1989-2009.
Candace was raised in upstate New York and moved to Washington state as a teenager in 1985. She attended Lynden High School and furthered her college education at both Northwestern College in Orange City, IA and Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA.
Candace is married to her husband of 32 years, Brad. They have raised two grown children, Kyle and Tara, who also work and live locally within the county. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves being a new grammy to her grandson, Kasen! Her favorite activities include playing board games, hosting parties, attending plays, boating, vacationing, playing pickleball, and snuggling with her Multipoo dog rescue, Khloe.
